Craig Hughes’s tenure as Division Controller with Trammell Crow Company was as the focal point between ownership, management, leasing, construction, property management and accounting. This interaction with all phases of a national commercial real estate company set a solid foundation and allowed Mr. Hughes to “hit the ground running” as he transitioned his role from the company’s CPA to marketing and brokerage. Beginning in July 1999, Mr. Hughes closed a deal per week for the first 18 weeks as a landlord Leasing Agent for Holt Lunsford Commercial and ended the first half year with a total of 21 closed lease transactions. Mr. Hughes was a perennial top producer for Holt Lunsford Commercial completing over 40 commercial real estate transactions on behalf of various institutional landlords for each of the years 2000, 2001 and 2003.

Shortly after joining Cushman & Wakefield in September 2003, Mr. Hughes was nominated for Best Corporate Office Relocation deal of the year in 2004 representing Daikin AC (Americas), Inc. in their US headquarters lease in Carrollton, Texas. Mr. Hughes was a Top 10 producer in the Cushman & Wakefield Dallas office and a Top 50 Industrial Broker for Cushman & Wakefield nationally.

Mr. Hughes was engaged by institutional landlords including, USAA Real Estate, IW3, Crow Holdings and Bandera Ventures as the exclusive leasing agent for various speculative industrial development totaling millions of square feet. In every case Mr. Hughes completed the assignment by successfully leasing the developments at or above market rates for his clients.
