Kennedale TownCenter Building 2 (Dollar General BTS) Kennedale, Texas 2025

Dollar General selects Hughes Commercial Real Estate and Development, LLC  for the build-to-suit development of their newest concept – DG Market in Kennedale TownCenter.  Craig Hughes, Managing Principal with Hughes Commercial, represented Kennedale Development Partners, LLC in the design and development of a 10,640 SF ground up retail development located at 223 W Kennedale Parkway, Kennedale, Texas 76060. The new DG Market store was completed in May 2025. Hughes contracted with general contractor, SITI Construction, on the development with architectural services performed by NWS Architects, Inc.

Dollar General’s new concept, DG Market, offers a wider selection of fresh foods, including produce, meat, and dairy, compared to a standard Dollar General store. DG Markets are also larger, with more space dedicated to refrigerated and frozen items and expanded general merchandise.
